Description

Ceramic tile, square. On a white background, tile has an image in blue of a biblical scene of Abraham kneeling in front of an altar, a floating angel approching him from behind. They are situated in an outdoor landscape with trees and hills to either side, rays streaming from the sky at centre. The scene is surrounded by a circular border, with ox-head motifs sitting at each corner of the tile. Top of object is glazed and shiny, sides and bottom undecorated.
