Description

A wooden carving with intricate patterns on the surface. There are four holes along the top of the carving. The carving curves upwards on either end, and it is covered in swirling patterns.

Narrative

From the collection of Sister Twyford or Miss J. Pearce (Australia), who had served as missionaries in the Trobriand Islands in the 1920s and Dobu Island in the 1930s.
