Description

'Tree of Life' sculpture made from clay in the shape of a densely branched tree with a thick trunk. Branches are painted blue and pink, with a dense covering of clay flowers and leaves attached to thin wires that are sunk into the tree. Amongst the foliage are placed a myriad of decorations, including toys, flags, a doll, mermaid, ponchos and scarves, baskets and vessels, a chair, butterflies and animals, a skeleton, and musical instruments, as well as a scene involving jumping men at centre top. A small plaque in pink and white with the logo of the Museum of Anthropology sits near the bottom.
