Byzantine coin of Constans II, 641-668, shaped like a square. Obverse: two figures, standing and facing front; to left, Constans II, with beard; he wears military attire; to left, he holds a long staff topped with a globe and cross; to right, Constantine IV, his son; he wears a chlamys and is without a beard; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; each figure wears a crown with cross. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, Heraclius, son of Constans II, standing and facing front; to right, Tiberius, son of Constans II, standing and facing front; to left, Tiberius holds a globus cruciger; above ‘M’, monogram; in exergue, ‘SCL’.
