Description

Wedding dress. Silk garment is long, with a flaring skirt, V neck, and long bell shaped sleeves that flare widely toward the wrists and come to a hanging point at bottom. Dress is heavily embroidered in repeating small gold circular motifs lying in diagonal stripes across the dress, on a light tan ground. Panels of heavy embroidery are sewn into the shoulders and sleeves of the dress, the torso, along the sides of the skirt, and bottom back hem, showing chevrons, flowers and other motifs in orange, red, green and purple on a red and orange ground. The interior is unlined.
