Description

V-shaped, multicoloured, embroidered, decorative band. Textile has an under layer of linen, upon which a pattern is cross-stitched. A repeating pattern of coloured triangles is set onto squares of dark pink, orange, white, and maroon runs down the centre of both arms of the V, with smaller versions along the edge. Bottom side of textile holds a think fringe of twisted purple fibre, each ending in a white plastic bead. Back of textile is undecorated green linen.

History Of Use

Saye gosha are laid over rolled-up bedding and quilts in the tent or house during the day. Meant to be decorative.
