Panel Pipe Item Number: 3260/61 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
Long, carved argillite panel pipe. Fully carved, the figures are: a dog, a man, a picket fence, a raven, a cabin with mirrored windows (carved separately and inserted tightly into the opening), and a large insect (mosquito?) at the opposite end. The base of the pipe is finely carved with a foliate design.
Narrative
Purchased by the donor from Cowan's Auctions in Cincinnati in 2015.
