Fishing Lure Item Number: 3274/11 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Composite fishing lure of cut mother of pearl shell, cut in a leaf or fish shape, with a feather(?) hackle tied to the shell. A turtle shell barb is lashed to the shell by string. A bundle of twisted plant fibre cord is attached to the lure by string.
Collected by Shigeru Kaneshiro during a visit to the Woleai area in 1950-1952
