Hand puppet of character named Guignol. Head and hands are carved from wood and painted. He has black eyes and eyebrows, red lips, nostrils and inner corners of the eyes, and rosy cheeks. On his head he wears a simple navy felt hat with tail, open at the top, revealing flat painted wood. His fabric body is red with beige underneath and a gold-yellow collar. The fabric is nailed to the hands and head. Operated by inserting a hand inside the body of the puppet to control its head and movements.
