Description

Finely woven traditional fedora-style men’s hat, made from toquilla palm (jipi). Hat has a moderately wide brim, with a slightly upturned edge, and a low indented crown with a pinched front. A solid black ribbon wraps around the base and is tied on one side.

History Of Use

The hat has been ironed to take a ‘tropical’ shape and a ribbon has been tied around the base. These ribbons come in various natural colours.
