Description

Miniature 'tree of life' sculpture made from clay in the shape of a tree with a thick trunk. The design appears to depict Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Covered with various large flowers in light yellow, red and black, small round fruit, and large dark green leaves extending out around the exterior, all attached to thin wires that are sunk into the tree. Amongst the foliage are two small naked figures with their genitals covered by fig leaves, a female and a male, with a large grey serpent wrapped around the trunk in between. Above, a winged figure in a pink and red tunic, and two light yellow birds on either side. There is one large candle holder extending straight up from the trunk of the tree with its rim painted red.
