Description

Pottery court figure. The standing woman wears a long elegant robe with both hands hidden in her sleeves. She has a rounded face with pink lips, pronounced cheeks, and a double chignon. The long robe covers her feet. Unglazed, with pale traces of paint throughout. Figure is hollow.

Narrative

3510/2-3 were puchased by the donor as a pair of court ladies (唐三彩女俑) from Chung's Arts & Products in Hong Kong, in 1992.
