Description

Wooden cheetah figure in a standing position. Cat is carved from multiple pieces of wood; all components are painted yellow. Head and body are one piece. Legs, tail and ears are separate. Legs and tail nailed to body. Ears are inset and secured with glue. Eyes and mouth are incised, nose carved in low relief. Incisions are all painted black. Eyes painted white, whiskers and nose done in black. Inner ears are painted red, with black lines along the outer edges. Black lines painted along front bottom edges of all paws, imitating claws. Entire body decorated with black spots. Tail has a black tip.
