Description

Wooden tiger-like figure in a standing position. Animal is carved from multiples pieces of wood; all components painted yellow. Head and body are one piece. Legs, tail and ears are separate. Legs and tail nailed to body. Ears are inset and secured with glue. Eyes and mouth are incised, nose carved in relief. Incisions are all painted black. Nose and whiskers done in black. Inner ears are painted pink, with black lines along the outer edges. Black lines painted along front bottom edges of all paws, imitating claws. Wavy black lines decorate head, body and legs. Straight black lines painted along length of tail.
