Description

Wooden dog figure in a standing position. Dog is carved from multiple pieces of wood; all components are naturally coloured with additional painted decoration. Head and body are one piece. Legs, tail and ears are separate. Legs are glued to body. Ears and tail are inset and secured with glue. Eyes and mouth are incised and painted black. Whiskers and nose done in black. Inner ears painted pink, with black lines along the edges. Black lines painted along front bottom edges of all paws, imitating nails. Black irregularly-shaped spots decorate entire body. Diagonal stripes painted across tail. Artist inscription and manufacturer’s mark on base.
