Description

Wooden deer-like figure in a standing position. Animal is carved from multiple pieces of wood; all components painted red-pink. Head and body are one piece. Legs, tail, ears and horns are separate. Legs and tail nailed to body. Ears and horns are inset and secured with glue. Eyes and mouth are incised, nostrils painted on. All incisions are painted black. Ends of legs are painted black, imitating hooves. Eyes are white, visible sections of horns painted black. Inner ears painted green, with white lines along the outer edges. Black dashes painted across body, vertical lines done along length of tail.
