Description

Wooden goat-like figure in a standing position. Animal is carved from multiple pieces of wood; horns are painted black, rest of components are yellow. Head and body are one piece. Legs, tail, horns and ears are separate. Legs and tail nailed to body. Horns and ears are inset and secured with glue. Eyes and mouth are incised, nostrils painted on. All incisions are painted black. Eyes are naturally coloured, nostrils done in black. Inner ears are painted light pink. Bottom edges of legs painted black, imitating hooves. Body is covered in large, irregularly-shaped black spots. Black vertical lines painted along length of tail.
