Long-sleeved smock-style shirt made of undyed cotton. Shirt has a side opening that secures at the neck and side, with a button and tie respectively. Additional ties at front centre, along waistline. Large pocket, with side opening, on right side of shirt; small pocket with top opening on left. The small pocket is accessible from the exterior of the shirt, large pocket accessible from interior. Bottom of shirt is pleated. Pencil inscription along right sleeve.
This shirt was everyday wear for men.
Collected by the donor in Gujarat, India in 1988 while researching textiles and paper-making.
