Description

Olla from central Mexico. Glazed upper body and interior are a dark brownish-red. The jar has a round body, tall neck, and flared lip. Two loop handles extend upright on opposite sides of shoulder. No lid.

History Of Use

Commonly used to cook beans, broth, coffee, tea, and atole.
