Description

Two-tined fork with incised decorations along length of handle, on front and back. Design consists of a circle with a deeper circular indent in the centre, surrounded by dots; circle closer to end of fork. Long line extends from circle, towards tines, and ends in a split; chevrons run across length of line, pointing towards tines. Overall body of fork is slightly curved.

Narrative

Acquired by the donor's father when he lived in Nyac, Alaska, on the Kuskokwim River, from the 1920s to 1960s.
