Rice straw 'painting' on black cloth, stiffened with paper(?). Painting depicts scene of a person paddling at the stern of a dhow-type boat. Mountainous shoreline in the background of the painting, along with birds in the sky; palm tree, with small plants around base, with path to water, and dock in the foreground. Back of painting lined with white paper; orange fabric tie threaded through paper, for hanging purposes. Manufacturer's mark stamped in bottom right corner, and pencil inscription written along left edge; both marks on back of painting.
Purchased by the donor from a government-run handicraft store, "Khadi Kraft".
