Description

Handmade toy vehicle consisting of metal wires coiled together; wires that make up main body of vehicle are wrapped in assorted plastic, wheels and under carriage are uncovered. Construction is open, with wires suggesting walls and seats. Eight wire figures are inside vehicle, playing different instruments; all dressed in cotton clothing and have their heads covered. Two figures in back are playing large circular drums, three in middle are playing a guitar, cymbal, and bells; all are seated. Two figures are standing at front with cylindrical instruments, and they are holding long sticks inserted in them. Instruments are made of plain metal and oil cans. Eighth figure at front of vehicle, facing backward, has their hands on top of the two standing figures; they are wearing a metal mask with horns. Long curved handle attached to bottom back edge, that extends overtop entire vehicle; for steering and pushing. When toy is moved, figures holding instruments move to play them; masked figure bends at the waist.
