Narrative

Drawing is based on planks from a Tsimshian village site near the mouth of the Skeena River, collected by Marius Barbeau in 1915. Wilson consulted infrared photographs of the boards to reconstruct their visible components, using coloured pencil on mylar. This drawing was constucted to illustrate how the fragments may have formed part of a screen. Drawing 3602/8 was also created from this reconstruction.
