Figure has large wings pointed downward, clawed feet, and a long tail; formline design elements throughout interior. Overall drawing has a rectangular outline with dotted lines along the short edges. Title, artist signature, and date made written in bottom right corner.

Narrative

Drawing is based on a Nuxalk house front, photographed in the village of Komkotes in 1873. [See 'The Transforming Image' (2022), Page IX, Fig. 2.]
