Description

Round beadwork mat in pink. Rectangular centre with rounded corners. Beaded flowers, with the central flower in bloom with five pink petals and centre lined in light pink. Stem and leaves are bright green. The design is stitched onto a tan skin(?). Bordered by a light pink zigzag line. Backed with tan skin(?). Extending from the centre is open-work beading in pink and white.

Narrative

The donor and his wife, Grace Okada, lived in Nahanni Butte from Sept 1990 to 1993.
