Description
Small, brown, semi-hemispherical shaped container (parts a-b) made from the bottom section of a gourd. The rim is rough and uneven. Part b is larger then part a. Both parts are undecorated.
Narrative
Purchased as a set, inside basket H1.187, along with spindles, bobbins and thread--also see H1.188 c-h; said to be from the 12th century.
