Mask Item Number: 3706/1 from the MOA: University of British Columbia



Humanoid male mask with narrow eyes, triangular nose, and rectangular face that tapers slightly to a rounded chin. Face is painted pink beige, with rosy cheeks; bushy eyebrows and curved moustache painted in black. Circular goatee painted on point of chin, also in black. Eyes and mouth are cut out; eyes are slits, and mouth is T-shaped. Two holes drilled into either side of mask, with metal hooks along the inside edge. Interior is hollow.
Purchased by Frank Mayrs in the 1960s-1970s from shops and artists.
