bifacially ground and polished axe fashioned from cream variagated nephrite; rectangular cross-section with bevelled lateral edges; diagonal bit sharply bevelled; groove on one lateral edge evidence of detachment from parent material (poss. rejuvenation of damaged tool?); small portion of proximal end of tool present; damage to most of proximal end
