small circular mortar or bowl fashioned from a round, flat pebble; circular depression (4.83 x 4.6 cm x approx. 0.79 cm deep), pecked into one face; darkly stained relative to sides of artifact; some pitting on underside of artifact; found with a linear cobble (not catalogued), that did not appear to be artifactual
