small side notched projectile point fashioned from translucent brown chalcedony; long narrow blade (relative to size of point), with straight lateral edges; weakly defined shoulders; side notched with short expanded stem (wider than blade of point) with pronounced basal corners; slightly convex base; made on a flake; mainly marginal flaking on dorsal and ventral faces; no indication of notch or basal grinding present; biconvex cross-section
