ground polished axe blade, fashioned from cream coloured nephrite; straight distal end, diagonal to long axis of tool; bevelled on dorsal ventral surfaces (bevel more pronounced on dorsal surface); parallel lateral edges, broken at proximal end of tool; rectangular cross-section; deep longitudinal groove on dorsal surface; tool has been grooved on dorsal and ventral surfaces at lateral edge and snapped (tool rejuvenation?); possible discolouration in a few places
