large ovoid cobble of grey-green nephrite, with three saw-cuts, a central groove sawn along the length of the cobble, and grooves sawn from dorsal and ventral surfaces at right angles to this, toward centre line; two snap scars present from detachment of two adze blade blanks; marked with an "S"; possible rust stains
