Description

Ground adze or celt fashioned from green variagated nephrite. Heavy use-wear on bit. Bit is biconvex in profile and lateral edges taper toward rounded poll. Slight battering on poll. Rectangular cross-section with slightly bevelled edges.

"Birth Control Site" below Deadman's Eddy Fraser Canyon, east side of river. Marked on accompanying map in small bay at location "021"; Bag 1/2.
