Description

Ground stone pipe bowl fragment fashioned from fine-grained grey basalt (?). Flat squared lip 2.21 mm thick. Very thin, slightly excurvate profile. Fine vertical striations on exterior and interior bowl.

Provenance

"Birth Control Site" below Deadman's Eddy; Fraser Canyon, east side of river. Marked on accompanying map in small bay at location "021"; Bag 2/2.
