Point, Projectile Item Number: DiRh-2:1 from the Sto:lo Research & Resource Management Centre

Description

corner-notched projectile point, fashioned from rhyolite (?); wide corner notches with asymmetrical expanding stem; retouched much more heavily on one side but not quite unificaial; similar to Wallula Rectangular Stemmed in North Cascades, ca 2000 - 150 BP; found with 3 small red chalcedony flakes, 2 small basalt flakes, and 1 piece of quartz crystal flake shatter, which were returned to shovel test (see report)
