Biface Flake Item Number: 2023.O.007:21 from the Sto:lo Research & Resource Management Centre
A medium sized flaked biface, the belonging is a glassy dark grey with a very fine grain. This belonging sports a rounded edge, a protruding point, and a squared off point. The dorsal surface has been worked and has multiple multidirectional flake arrises. The protruding point has a semi sharp bevelled edge on one side, and a thin semi sharp edge on the other side.
The ventral surface has an impact site opposite the squared point, and some compression ripples going length-wise.

Collected by Cyril Holbrow throughout his lifetime (1921-2021,) Found while living on his farming properties- he was a naturalist and knew the area very well. He donated his finds to the Clayburn Village Community Society.
