Biface Item Number: 2023.O.007:35 from the Sto:lo Research & Resource Management Centre
A large lanceolated biface with a flat cross section and a pointed base. The belonging has expanding variable flake scars on both faces, and excurvated mesial edges. Overall a dull opaque light grey with a fine grain. The dorsal face shows numerous compression rings, ripples and flake removal sites. The ventral face shows an impact site, a bulb of percussion, a few erailleur scars, and some compression ripples. The impact site and bulb are located on the wider semi-rounded point, ventral face.

Collected by Cyril Holbrow throughout his lifetime (1921-2021,) Found while living on his farming properties- he was a naturalist and knew the area very well. He donated his finds to the Clayburn Village Community Society.
