Description
Rectangular green shawl with long fringe. The shawl has a subtle white zigzag and black linear pattern on green ground. The long sides are selvage. The shorter ends have a woven black and green piece ending in a long, knotted fringe.

Based on the pattern and dying technique the shawl doesn't appear to have been made in Oaxaca. Textiles from elsewhere in Mexico can be bought in the markets.
