Wood with brass nails on front and back and brass screws at sides. Braided hide whip and sheepskin handle strap. Skin strip attached to top face. Cotton fabric in lavender, grey and red is tied around whip near end of handle.

No provenance information other than from the Fort Steele area; likely acquired by UBC before the museum was established, possibly in 1932?
