Wooden bobbin consisting of a hollow shaft with a pointed egg-shaped section at one end. The shaft is charred. There are two holes drilled in the round section.
Narrative
Purchased as a set, inside basket H1.187, along with spindles, bobbins and thread--also see H1.188 a-b, d-h; said to be from the 12th century.
