Description
Footed rectangular basket. Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches); parallel slat base construction; foot on one slat; partial imbrication and beading. Sides: "snake track" design (vertical zigzag) in bullrush with black on left and red on right, flanking two diamond shapes in black/bullrush/red. Ends have a single "snake track" motif. Foot is imbricated with three red stitches every sixth stitch; rim is beaded with red. Colour: tan.

The vertical zigzag pattern can be interpreted as snake trail or lightning. The diamond shaped designs represent stars.
