Description
Dagger type knife with double-edged blade. Composed of a long flat steel blade riveted between a two-piece ivory handle. The sides of the handle arch inwards and the ivory is a dark yellow colour. An arc-shaped ring of metal with a serrated outside edge protrudes from the butt end of the handle.
History Of Use
Handle ring could be for scaling fish? Possibly originated from a Tahltan community?
