Description

Narrow bone pin, cylindrical in shape, with a polished appearance. One end is pointed while the other has a small oval shaped knob created by a groove that encircles the end of the pin.

History Of Use

Small bone and wood pins were used to secure blankets and other garments, and were occassionally used for hair ornaments. They are also sometimes used by women spirit dancers to secure their costumes.
