Description

Horn sealed at the widest end by a nailed piece of wood and plugged with a slightly pointed wooden stopper at the other end. A short red and dark grey strap connects both ends. Does not contain any gunpowder.

Part of a shaman's bundle containing all the apparatus for the healing ceremony.

Narrative

Kept by the daughter of the deceased shaman. Collected by Wilhelm Helmer in Kispiox.
