Description
A reddish-brown oblong wood piece with a cylindrical shape tapering downward toward the middle on a small block base. While flat on top, the inside is hollowed out widely and deeply, and there are two crescent pieces cut out of each end.
Narrative
Burnett listed this item as coming from Father Palmer's collection. Burnett described Palmer as "one of the earliest R.C. [Roman Catholic] Missionaries to Fiji".
