Narrative

This bundle was said to have been found in a burial cave on Valdez Island according to the donor, who noted: "the cave contained an outer ring of painted stones, an inner ring of dead boughs sticking upright, bundles of the enclosed material, a stick of cedar which was similar to a pair of tongs, some buried clam shell... perhaps a necklace showing early red dyes, and sticks similar to the enclosed (October 25, 1963)."
