Description
Four sections of a repeating green and red root border on rim; green root has been laid over lighter sections. The birch bark body of the basket is bent and laced with root; rim is overcast; exterior of bark is to the outside.

Uncertain cultural origin; this may be the basket listed by Raley as #101 in his catalogue, which was said to be from Babine Lake.
