Description
A silver bracelet which has a flat inner surface and a slightly convex outer surface. The bracelet is formed of a length of silver with tapered ends bent in a circle and each end bent around the other so that they overlap 2.8 cm. There is a small coil around near each end of the bracelet. The ends can move on each other so that the circle is flexible.
History Of Use
Worn as an ornament. These were dowry items about 50 years ago, now gold is favoured (collector).
Cultural Context
Worn by Hakka women for everyday use, also may be worn by Cantonese.
