Square ceramic tile with scene painted on front. All sides are glazed. Background is black and all other design components are done in cream. Central design of three figures standing around a seated woman in an ornately decorated room. The woman, wearing a long short-sleeved gown, is at a writing desk, facing a man with a feathered hat and cape. In the background, to the left of the woman, are another man and woman. The standing woman is holding the second man back. In the top left corner, in a rectangle with a shield outline inside of it, are the words “Bride of Lammermoor.” In the bottom right corner, in a rectangle with a stylized oval inside of it, are the words “Ravenswood & Lucy.” The name of the tile designer is painted in the bottom left corner. Raised grid across back of tile. In centre of grid three diagonal ridges are stamped. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, in between ridges.

Square ceramic tile with curvilinear and floral motifs painted on front. Surface is glazed. Background is dark red-brown. Motifs done in black with diamonds, dots, and flared and rounded lines throughout in dark yellow. Sides of tile undecorated. Six horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Minton' Hollins & Co., stamped between ridges. White sticker in the bottom left corner, on the back, with handwritten notes.

Square ceramic tile with curvilinear and floral motifs painted on front. Background is mostly red-brown. Red-brown tapers inwards towards the top, with the top corners of the tile painted beige. Bottom third of tile painted dark brown. Overtop brown and red, in beige, are the curvilinear and floral motifs. Sides of tile undecorated. Twenty five holes, in rows of five by five, indented on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Minton & Co., stamped on back.

Different types of flowers painted in dark yellows and red-browns across entire tile. All flowers have light green stems and leaves. Raised grid across back of tile. Square ceramic tile painted white with dark green designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Dark green border on all sides with white interlocking lines inside. Central design of a white 16-petal chrysathemum flower in a dark green circle, surrounded by two dark green circles. The dark green circle closer to the top edge has cherry blossom motifs, the circle closer to the bottom depicts the three-taloned lung dragon. Surrounding the circles are designs of leaves, vines and branches. Those designs are done with stippling. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, stamped in between ridges.

Square ceramic tile painted white with dark blue designs overtop. Surface is glazed, sides are partially glazed. Plain line border around all edges. Tile divided into four sections by a plain cross. Each section has an identical design. Diamond in centre of squares with a sunflower motif in their centres. The four corners of the four square sections have triangles with semi-circles and diagonal lines inside of them. Raised grid across entire back of tile. Square ceramic tile with scene painted on front. Surface is glazed. Background is black and all other design components done in dark teal. Central design of two figures, one sitting on a ladder and the other standing on a stool, pulling grapes off a trellis(?). Both have short hair. The figure on the ladder is a female, wearing a dress and high boots. The figure on the stool is a male, wearing shorts and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Both are putting the grapes from the trellis(?) into baskets on the back of a donkey, between the two of them. “Autumn” written, in a slight arc, along the top edge of the tile. Raised grid across entire back of tile. Manufacturer's mark, Minton' Hollins & Co., stamped on back. Inscription on back.

Quarter circles in each corner, with scalloped edges and floral motifs inside of them. Small white flowers depicted across surface, with three large circles towards centre of tile. Circles have scalloped edges, with loops, and floral motifs inside of them. The circle closet to the left edge has a crane. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Square ceramic tile painted dark yellow with dark brown designs overtop. Surface and sides are glazed. Large “X” shape covers entire front. Behind the “X”, in the centre of the tile and the corners, are circles. Along the edges, in the space between the circles in the corners, are small rectangles. All of the shapes are filled with a mixture of floral and curvilinear motifs. Five horizontal ridges on back of tile. Manufacturer’s mark, Mintons China Works, stamped in between ridges.
