The cowrie shell eyes are painted red and are outlined with a black line extending upward toward its respective temple, which in turn, is outlined with white and red. There is a long black line running down along the middle of the face to the end of the nose. The top of the forehead is decorated with small cowrie shells. The lips are pinched to pout out and the mouth area is white.

Another piece (part c) is of a lighter whiter colour and has six holes and two v-shapes carved out along the edge of one side. The other piece (part d) is of a darker brown colour and has three holes and one v-shape carved out along the edge of one side.
